Merge is an initiative of SHINE to unite the Church across ethnic and denominational lines, to reach the nations represented in our communities. This initiative has grown as the church from across the Twin Cities has grabbed hold of this mission wholeheartedly. Our vision is to see this movement all across the United States.

Revelation 7:9 birthed our dream to unite and equip the Church to reach the nations in our communities and neighborhoods.
Merge USA was founded by Dr. Sammy Wanyonyi as an initiative of Shine in the World Ministries to reach the nations in the US. Our dream is for each major city in the US to have a catalyzing moment that will unite the church and bring change for generations to come.
In the Twin Cities alone there are more than 100 different nations represented. Around 90% of first and second-generation immigrants have never heard the gospel – our mission is to share the good news of Jesus and activate churches to disciple them.
